After spending my morning in a Providence studio with a dancer and many masks, I went walking with my camera across the Kennedy Plaza and spied the skating rink at the Alex and Ani City Center with City Hall in the background. If there's a lovelier place to skate in an urban environment, I haven't seen it. (And, it boasts twice the space of the famed Rockefeller Center rink.) The final image was created using new painterly techniques I've been experimenting with for the past year. Please let me know what you think.
