Artist's Description

Beadle Rocks on Rexhame Beach at the Old Mouth of the North River in Marshfield, Massachusetts. In the early 1600s during Colonial times, Joseph Beadle was a carpenter, who was granted land adjacent to the beach near the rocks. Mr. Beadle is crediting the first bridge over the South River circa 1640.
